Importance of Dahaprashaman Dravya in Ayurveda
Daha (burning sensation) is a common symptom in various disorders in Ayurveda, caused mainly due to Pitta dosha aggravation. Dahaprashaman Dravya refers to the group of medicinal substances that alleviate burning sensations in the body. These herbs and formulations play a significant role in cooling the excessive heat generated by Pitta, restoring balance, and providing relief from discomfort caused by hyperacidity, inflammation, and other heat-related disorders.
