Aendri, commonly known as Brahmi, is a creeping, perennial herb with succulent, oblong leaves that are arranged oppositely on the stem. The leaves are small, thick, and fleshy with a smooth surface. The plant produces small, white or light purple flowers with four to five petals.

Aendri is found in wet, tropical environments, commonly in India, Nepal, China, Sri Lanka, and other parts of Southeast Asia. It thrives in marshy areas, riverbanks, and wetlands.
