Description: Kadamb is a large, evergreen tree that can grow up to 45 meters in height. It has a broad, dense canopy with dark green, glossy leaves that are opposite, ovate, and have a smooth texture. The tree is known for its fragrant, spherical flowers, which are yellow to orange and bloom during the rainy season. The fruits are small, round, and fleshy.
Occurrence: Kadamb is native to South and Southeast Asia, including India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, and Malaysia. It typically grows in moist, deciduous forests, riverbanks, and other areas with high rainfall.
